Law Society survey of legal aid firms

The Law Society commissioned this research to examine the impact of the government's legal aid reforms on the finances of solicitors’ firms.

They had concerns that communities would lose the expertise offered by local firms and wished to present this concern in a dispassionate manner backed up with independent evidence, as they believed the government will find this more convincing.

We had an excellent response with 170 firms participating.
